Privacy Policy Disclosure
The North Olmsted School Employees Federal Credit Union has a commitment to our members, former members, and consumers that are provided or apply for services from the Credit Union to maintain the confidentiality of the disclosure of information by the Credit Union with third parties where permitted by law. The Credit Union is providing this notice pursuant to federal law and regulation and to educate members and consumers as to their privacy rights under law. This disclosure outlines the privacy policies and practices of the North Olmsted School Employees Federal Credit Union.
THE INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT
We collect nonpublic information about you from the following sources:
- Information that we receive from you on applications or other forms
- Information about your transactions with us
- Information about your transactions with nonaffiliated third parties
- Information we receive from consumer agency
INFORMATION DISCLOSED
We may disclose the following kinds of nonpublic personal information about you:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as "your name, address, social security number, assets, income and liabilities"
- Information about your transactions with us and non affiliates such as "your account balance, payment history and parties to transactions"
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency such as "your credit worthiness and credit history"
WHO THE CREDIT UNION SHARES WITH
We may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to the following types of nonaffiliated third parties:
- Financial service providers, such as any business such as other CU's, banks, insurance companies, underwriters, loan brokers and services, tax planners and prepares, appraisers, real estate settlement services, computer hardware and software manufactures
- The Credit Union may disclose all of the information it
collects to companies which perform marketing services on our behalf or to
other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements
We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by law.
We are committed to providing you with competitive products and services designed to meet your financial needs, which necessitates that we share information about you to complete your transactions and to provide you with certain financial opportunities. In order to do so, we have entered into agreements with other companies that provide either services to additional financial products or us for you to consider. The credit union's board of directors has approved each of these companies.
THE CONFIDENTIALITY, SECURITY AND INTEGRITY OF YOUR NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by law.
If you decided to close your account(s), we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.
AUTHORIZING SHARING JOINT MARKETING
We may also disclose all of the information we collect, as described above to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.
Federal law allows us to disclose the information listed above with other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements. We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted or required by law.
